Elérhető a Nemes Gusztáv részvételével megvalósuló FUTUR(e) ABILITIY Erasmus+ projekt beszámolója

The following report results from the research activities carried out from June to December 2021 by Futur(e)ability partners. It offers an overview of the teaching skills needed to face digital readiness during  pandemic, offering details about the pedagogical approach and methodologies to use with a focus on visual methods.

The approach to the research was mainly qualitative, using a variety of investigative tools, chosen according to the specific aim and target group, which included surveys, focus groups and desk research. The desk research reflects the phenomenon at a broader and official level, while the focus group and the survey display considerations in a more precise and personal way. Despite differences in their methodologies, all the research approaches reached similar conclusions in terms of trends and concerns related to distance learning in higher education sectors.

More about the project:

Futur(e)Ability: Digital and transversal skills for online teachers

The project will draw on the experience of university teachers during the Corona pandemic to develop training and resources for educators in teaching online in a participatory and engaging way.

The current pandemic crisis has changed the way in which we think and participate in our social relations, demanding for creative solutions and for rapid improvement of technologies.

This new condition has had an effect on many different fields and contexts; however, it is undeniable that the spread of the COVID-19 represented a major challenge in the way in which teaching and learning are conceived and performed. The Higher Education sector has been hit heavily for the quick pace of the adoption of solution for blended and distance learning and the unpreparedness of the majority of lecturers and educators.
